Moving to Treetops, step by step

Deciding on residential care is rarely simple. We try to make the practical side as clear and unhurried as we can.

  1. 01

    A first conversation

Call us or send a message. We'll talk through what you need, answer your early questions, and arrange a time to visit — there's no pressure and no obligation.

  2. 02

A visit and a needs assessment

Come and see the home, meet the team, and look at an available room. We carry out a needs assessment so we can be honest about whether Treetops is the right fit for your relative.

  3. 03

A care plan built around the person

Before moving in, we build a care plan around your relative's history, routines and wishes — from how they like to spend the day to where they prefer to eat.

  4. 04

    Settling in

We help with the move and the first days, keeping you closely in touch as your relative settles. The aim is that the home feels like home, quickly.

Respite and short stays

A short stay can be the right first step — during convalescence after a hospital stay, while a usual carer takes a break, or simply to see how things feel. Respite residents receive exactly the same standard of care as everyone else at Treetops.

Fees and funding

Fees depend on the room and the level of care your relative needs, so we prefer to be precise rather than print a number that might not apply to you. We’ll talk through current fees and the funding routes available — self-funded, local-authority supported, or NHS-funded — clearly and without jargon when you visit.

Treetops is run by Tree Tops Residential Limited and registered with the Care Quality Commission.
